Welcome aboard the Ambergris! Whether we’re sailing the rugged coast of Maine or a remote tropical archipelago, our sailing adventures are customized to fit your schedule and interests.

The Ambergris was designed by Tom Colvin and she is 60 feet on deck. (To be determined overall- we still need to build a boomkin!) We’ve designed the interior to be open with removable walls so that we can change the space according to our needs. When we’re hauling cargo there is tons of carrying capacity and when we take passengers we can divide the hold into 4 private cabins.

Your Crew

Patrick Reilly grew up in Maine (although he was born in New Jersey and has only lived in Maine since the age of 3 – something his native Mainer friends never let him forget!) He learned to sail as a boy and by the time he was 18 had earned his U.S.C.G captain’s license. Since then he has captained everything from traditional boats to luxury yachts all over the world. When not sailing the Ambergris he works as a private yacht captain and offshore delivery skipper.

Erin Lucey is actually a Maine native. She started sailing when she met Patrick and has since taken over the position of Admiral! Growing up in the Maine woods she learned all about the natural world and is a keen gardener and naturalist. We’re “Sailing the Farm” and Erin keep’s the Ambergris floating gardens flourishing. She graduated from Bowdoin College and is a certified speech-language pathologist.
